Happy Reading, Dear Readers! Thank you for sharing this special week with me!

The Honorable Mr. Darcy is FREE this weekend!

Yes, you read that right friends. For the first time ever, The Honorable Mr. Darcy is free. But that’s not all! Also, for the first time since its release, The Indomitable Miss Elizabeth is only 99 cents in the US and UK Amazon stores!

You see, our dear Miss Elizabeth didn’t want all the attention going to Darcy’s head, so she demanded a bit of the spotlight to keep things equal. She’s a smart cookie. It’s what’s helped her survive the mysteries plaguing Meryton of late! Thanks to her, Darcy hasn’t suffered a day of boredom since they got trapped in Bingley’s library together … but I’ll be quiet now because I don’t want to spoil the story before you get a chance to read it.

So what are you waiting for? Two big books full of sweet romance, shocking secrets, and delightful intrigue for only 99 cents!

The sale ends Sunday night (November 19th), so grab your copies fast!

A new book … a new series … and a sale!

Have you seen the movie The Bachelor? You know, the one with Chris O’Donnell and Renée Zellweger? There’s a scene toward the beginning — the part where you know the story’s about to get really good — where he’s riding in an elevator with several other gentlemen shuffling uncomfortably in their suits and ties. They’r getting ready to propose in the romantic Starlight Room. The elevator opens, and each of them steps out to embrace the woman to whom they’ll propose.

I’d seen this elevator scene dozens of times, but this time, I pushed pause.

Excitedly, I turned to my husband and pointed at the tv, shouting, “That’s it! That’s it!”

“Good. Write it down before you forget,” he said patiently, all too accustomed to my sudden bursts of inspiration … and my sometimes *ahem* faulty memory.

To make a long story short, my husband (romantic that he is) watched the rest of the movie while I started writing in a notebook. What if I wrote the stories of those men in the elevator?

That’s how this series of novellas was born, and I’m so excited to share it with you! Each book will be 100 (or a bit more) pages in length and the only thing they’ll have in common is the setting (The Starlight Terrace) and the theme (a proposal).

To celebrate the release of my novella Written in the Stars, I released my book at a discounted price for my newsletter peeps, but now I’m sharing it with you. It’s a steal at 99 cents, but it’s only through tonight. So grab your copy fast! Sunday night, the sale ends and it’ll go back to $2.99.

If you’re ready to fall under the spell of the Starlight Terrace, pick up your copy here! Let the swooning begin…

So what’s this new, 118-page book about? Here’s the blurb for Written in the Stars:

Meet … fall in love … propose. Easy, right?

Will can write a best-selling novel.
But can he write the perfect proposal?

Will Donovan, a literary author whose novel has been nominated for its film adaptation at the Sundance Festival, writes what he can’t articulate.

In the romantic Starlight Terrace, he plans the perfect proposal for Liz Benetti, an outspoken book blogger and talented voice-over artist, only to learn that she’s close to uncovering a secret he’s worked hard to keep quiet.

Can Will keep his secret and Liz’s heart or will his perfect proposal mean the end of his career?

Written in the Stars is the first in Jennifer Joy’s new series set in the romantic Starlight Terrace, where soft jazz, sparkly champagne, and the finest food in the Pacific Northwest inspires proposals and new beginnings.

If you like sweet romances with happy endings and a touch of humor you can read in one sitting, you’ll love sharing in the most significant night of these men’s lives as they struggle to propose to the women they love.
